Thank you for doing this. We need as much exposure on this as possible. I'm going to find something to say about it every day. Cao.

Reps. Jim Morgan of Virginia, Robert Wexler of Florida, and Earl Blumenauer of Oregon have demonstrated that they would support euthanasia of disabled americans; by their acts to prevent Terri's right to life and a fair hearing in accordance with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. Are we to return to the days when disabled americans are locked away, sterilized sexualy, and murdered simply because they are disabled? I thought our learned Representatives wanted to provide better quality of life to the poor and disabled, but I guess that better means Dead.

This really slays me. everyone's one an authority on the the right to live. God gave life and God takes life. People should not interfer with God's plan. For the goverment to get involved is a political ploy.
My husand his a tumor pressing in on his brain. If we do nothing I lose him. If we radiate which has been done before theres 85% chance we would be just like terri. Neither of us want that. We have it in writting. this whole episode with Terri, her parents and the goverment makes me want to vomit. If there weren't artificial means to keep her alive she would have been gone long ago.

Judges may rule concerning the Terri Schiavo case but the Supreme Everlasting Judge has already spoken.

Re: Michael Schiavo's Comment that he loves Terri is in total contrast to truth and a description of love found in
1Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud, it is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

When light is shed on the situation
it is clear Michael Schiavo is a liar.

Oh by the way Proverbs 6:16-19 states:

There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to Him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

A perfect description of Michael Schiavo!!!

How is it that we, as American’s, can allow this atrocity to happen? I sit here astounded that we are allowing the starvation and dehydration of a human being as a means of euthanasia. A prisoner, on death row, is given more consideration. If starvation and dehydration are a viable means of euthanasia, why are we using our tax dollars to keep these prisoners alive? We feed them three times daily and allow them medical and dental treatment if necessary, and in the end, allowing them to be put to death in a humanitarian way by means of lethal injection?

An animal that is abandoned, and/or no longer wanted, is also allowed the decency to be put to sleep by means of lethal injection. Starvation and dehydration is considered inhuman and cruel. People, allowing this type of neglect, face severe legal consequences.

Alzhiemer patients live daily, and are allowed physical therapy, nutrition, and the best capabilities the medical profession has to offer. Like Terri, they are also considered to never regain a productive role in society. Yet, Terri has not been allowed any of these options or considerations.

Mental institutions are filled daily with patients that do not respond or communicate. These patients are given constant medical supervision and are treated as human beings regardless of their mental state.

Dr. Kavorkian, has been brought before the judicial system various times, regarding assisted suicide in terminally ill patients that have pleaded for their life to end. We have opposed this time and time again. Terri hasn’t pleaded for her life to end, yet we are allowing this?

People are starving all across the nation and the US spends billions of dollars each year to provide nourishment and medical treatment. Why, because, starvation is considered the most inhumane of all deaths. If not, and this is a peaceful why to die, then why do we bother?

A person that is starving, can tell us exactly how painful this plight is, but are we listening? You see the ads daily on television, and as uncomfortable as it is to watch, you still can’t help but see the pain and desperation in each of their faces, pleading for their existence.

If we allow this to happen to Terri, we are also the judge, jury and the executioners. Anyone, thinking this is not the case, should not eat or drink for seven days. Terri has proved that you can survive for seven days without food and water. The judges, Terri’s husband, his lawyer, and all the other people fighting for them to remove the feeding tube, as well. Before anyone can state this is humane, shouldn’t you at least test this theory personally?

There is too much conflicting evidence surrounding Terri Shiavo’s case. A jury is told repeatedly, that you cannot prosecute anyone if there is the slightest doubt in your mind of their innocence. America has been voicing their doubt. Shouldn’t this be considered a jury of her peers? If so, how can we allow the judicial system to continue this absurd execution of one of our fellow Americans?

Come out of your coma America, wake up and voice your opinion to the leaders of this nation. Remember, Jesus once stated, “I put before you life and death. Choose life!”

Why can't some one request court to let treat TERRI SCHIAVO outside united states? There are many other medical treatments available in other developed countries.

I have been following the case...but for some reason today I feel very, very, sad. How can people treat people like this? What has happened to us?
