American Life League Responds to Bush's Election
Not everyone who consider themselves to be pro-life is satisfied with President Bush's pro-life record. In fact, a vocal segment of the this community does not view Bush as a pro-life candidate. Among them is the American Life League's Judie Brown.

Some people are just idiots. Anyone who thinks it's bad to resist abortion to whatever degree is possible rather than trying for the impossible and accomplishing nothing is living in another world. It's not pro-life in fact to be unwilling to do anything about abortion or support anyone who will try to curb it simply out of a distaste for partial measures.
The likely minority leader will be Harry Reid, who is described by liberals as being against abortion rights. He should prove an interesting partner to the Republicans in their resistance to the abortion-happy Arlen Spector, who has already told Bush not to send his Judiciary Committee any pro-life judges. That reversal will end up being incredibly strange. I really hope Frist can somehow prevent Spector from getting that chairmanship, but I don't know how easy that will be. He is the ranking Republican on the committee.
