Easton Jordan Blog Swarm

Update: (Feb. 11) - Eason Quit

Eason Jordan is executive vice president and chief news executive of CNN. He chairs the CNN Editorial Board, is a member of the CNN Executive Committee and provides strategic advice to CNN's senior management team. He's a very important person and what he says carries weight at CNN.

Here is what Eason Jordan was quoted as saying during a discussion at the World Economic Forum titled "Will Democracy Survive the Media?"

During one of the discussions about the number of journalists killed in the Iraq War, Eason Jordan asserted that he knew of 12 journalists who had not only been killed by US troops in Iraq, but they had in fact been targeted. He repeated the assertion a few times, which seemed to win favor in parts of the audience (the anti-US crowd) and cause great strain on others. - ForumBlog
Despite these scandalous accusations made on January 27, to date, nothing has been printed in the Mainstream Media [Hugh Hewitt]

Hence, we are entering day three of the Eason Jordan Blog Swarm.

Captain's Quarters has the lead and La Shawn Barber has the repository.

Here is Jordan's response. No surprising, he spins his remarks in the most beneficial manner. A video tape of the event will be made public next week and the evidence will speak for itself.
