Florida Right to Know Bill Struck Down
Abortion rights advocates hailed an appellate court ruling against a law that would have required doctors to tell pregnant women seeking abortion about its alternatives. The law, also known as the ''Women's Right to Know Act,'' also would have compelled doctors to give patients a state-produced flier on alternatives to abortion, including information about medical assistance benefits for prenatal care, childbirth and neonatal care. What a façade is put on by abortion "rights" advocates, such as John Kerry, who claim they are against abortion but yet oppose a law that would properly notify patients about abortion alternatives, all of which are superior to the one [lucrative] choice that the abortionist is financially motivated to perform. Couple this with the opposition to parental notification and it becomes clear that abortion advocates favor allowing children to have abortions without understanding the consequences of their action, input from their parents or other choices.
