Hussain Admits to Sowing Terror but Denies Being a Terrorist
Osman Hussain has admitted to playing a role in the failed July 21 London transit bombings. La Repubblica quoted Hussain as telling his interrogators. "We didn't want to kill, just sow terror."
Hussain also said his cell was not linked to either al-Qaida or the cell that carried out deadly bombings July 7.
Despite attempting a bombing attack in London for the purpose of sowing terror, Hussain's lawyer, Sonnessa, told Italian TV, "He doesn't consider himself a terrorist."
And, his cell "chief" — identified as "Muktar" — taught him how to assemble explosives using fertilizers and stuff explosives and timers into backpacks.
But he is not a terrorist.... right.
