Japanese Doctor found Guilty in Euthanasia Case
A doctor was given a suspended sentence on Friday for removing an oxygen tube from a patient and instructing a nurse to administer a dose of muscle relaxant, procedures that led to his death.
Setsuko Suda, former doctor at Kawasaki Kyodo Hospital, had pleaded not guilty to murder charges over the death of a 58-year-old male patient, but the Yokohama District Court sentenced her to three years in prison, suspended for five years.
The doctor got of easy. What's the probability of holding a U.S. judge accountable for similar action?
