Kerry Campaign Accepts Blood Money from Abortionists
Here are three doctors who have a hideous practice in common:
- Dr. Martin Haskell, based in Ohio and owner of three abortion clinics, pioneered the gruesome partial birth abortion procedure. [Haskell's manual is published here]
- Dr. George Tiller runs an abortion facility in Wichita, Kansas. He achieved notoriety for performing second and third-trimester abortions. In a 1995 speech, Tiller spoke of performing abortions as late as 36weeks. [click here for images of a pre-born child at 12 weeks]
- Warren Hern, the owner and director of the Boulder Abortion Clinic, regularly aborts children up to 26 weeks but, like Tiller, also offers abortions up to 36 weeks, the end of the eighth month.
The three have been notorious public figures for years due to their outspoken support of late-term abortions. They now have something else in common; all three have financially supported the Kerry Campaign with donations totaling $7,000 [National Right to Life Committee].
In this a surprise? John Kerry did tell Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, on January 25, 2004, "I'm against partial-birth abortion, as are many people." And Kerry told the Dubuque Telegraph Herald in July, 2004, "I oppose abortion, personally. I don't like abortion. I believe life does begin at conception."
Yet, he accepted blood money from the most notorious abortionists in the country whose abominable practice of second and third-trimester abortions is murder according to John Kerry’s definition of "personhood". Despite what Kerry says about abortion, this is not surprising. Early this year, Kate Michelman, the longtime president of the National Abortion Rights Action League, told the New York Times, "Even on the most difficult issues, we've never had to worry about John Kerry's position." In addition, both NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund have given Kerry a 100% score for his voting record on abortion.
Kerry has also made support for abortion one of his litmus tests for supreme court justices.
"Candidates like John Kerry, and those that espouse the pro-abortion philosophy, are definitely doing the bidding for those that make their living off of the killing of tiny, pre-born children," said Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. "The fact that John Kerry claims that he understands that human life begins at conception makes his position of advocating for abortion even more culpable."
