Kerry's Ongoing Faith-Based Contradiction
BlogsforBush's Matt Margolis notices a contradiction in John Kerry's statement, "I will bring my faith with me to the White House and it will guide me," when compared with Kerry's prior assertion,"I can't take what is an article of faith for me and legislate it for someone who doesn't share that article of faith, whether they be agnostic, atheist, Jew, Protestant, whatever. I can't do that."
As one might expect, Kerry's use of faith and religion is politically motivated. Quoting the Bible (James 2), he has used "works" (e.g., legislation, policy, decisions, etc.) to describe that which follows faith in an effort to impugn the character of the president. In doing so, Kerry reveals that his own faith can be discerned from his record in the senate and that it is far from what he claims it to be.

I remember one context in which Kerry said he wouldn't let his faith guide his policy, etc. He claimed that although abortion is murder, he can't let his faith dictate his policy, blah, blah, now he's flip-flopping for the Christian folk, I guess!
