Mission to China
Pray for Peter Xu Yongze, Enoch Wang and “Brother Yun” who have spent a combined 40 years in prison for preaching the gospel. The three leaders are spearheading a campaign to bring the gospel to the estimated 2 billion people living in the area known as the 10/40 window. The Chinese church first undertook this task in 1949 but most of the missionaries were imprisoned and died before being freed. The three leaders are looking to God to mobilize 100,000 Chinese missionaries who are willing to die in the effort to evangelize the region. “The missionaries will face opposition in these regions. But we believe the persecution we have already endured has been a training ground for this difficult mission.”
