Pope John Paul and Civilized Progress
Pope John Paul publicly condemned homosexual marriage as a radical and aggressive attack on the family and the fabric of society. "Who destroys this fundamental fabric causes a profound injury to society and provokes often irreparable damage," he said. [more]
Commenting and homosexual marriage (an oxymoron), abortion and other issues the Pope stated, "These things that are presented as civilized progress or scientific conquests, in many cases are in fact a defeat for the dignity of human life and for society."
