Abortion - Bush and Kerry on the issues: Should girls be required to tell their parents before having an abortion? [more]

Abortion - Kerry Hides position on parental notification [more]

Terrorism - British police arrest four after a tip the group was involved in a "dirty bomb" plot. [Chicago Tribune]

Terrorism - Black-Market Plutonium Dealers Arrested In Kyrgyzstan [more]

Politics - Kerry Sees Wisconsin Slipping Away... so what does he do? Pathetically, he announces another Bush "secret plan" to somehow damage dairy farmers... I'm not sure this is the lowest moment of Kerry's pathetic campaign, but it's a contender. [more]

Politics - I'm looking at all this, and I'm thinking that he's bottomed out and it can't get any worse. Then I heard that the head of the Communist Party of the United States of America was coming to town to endorse the liberal senator from Massachusetts. [more]

Church Conflict - You cannot prevent conflict in the church. In fact, God may bring conflict to the corporate life of the church in order to encourage change and spur spiritual growth. [more]

The Mind - is a muscle that must be exercised daily, and memory is the way we do it. Technological aids are a double edged sword, and in some way, Thamus was right. [more]

CBS Memos - Well, another chink in the armor of CBS. A Houston, TX radio affiliate has decided to stop broadcasting Dan Rather. And good for them. [more]

Society - Only White Liberals are Offended by "Redskins" [more]

Entertainment - Jay Passes "Tonight" Torch to Conan [more]

Decency - FCC fines CBS $550,000 for the Janet Jackson Super Bowl indecency 'slip up'. $550,000 is the cost of about 10 seconds of a Super Bowl ad. Television networks have become so bold in what they display on American television that this fine rather than serving notice that the FCC is taking its job seriously rather gives indication that it's 'business as usual'. It took the strongest public outcry of all time to get the FCC to bring a fine. The litmus test of its effectiveness will be whether American airwaves will be any cleaner. With sadness I say 'Don't hold your breath'
