It must be a trick? Many people have been known to have incredible mathematical abilities. It usually goes along with some condition like autism. What's probably going is that the brain develops much more in ways that have to do with systematizing and enjoying the kind of reasoning and focusing involved with mathematics but failing to develop in ways involving interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence. Some have even portrayed it as being more male than most males, since being male tends to go along with those abilities, just not to that extreme, and being female tends to go along with the abilities autistic people are less developed in.

"it must be a trick" - I wrote in jest but it apparently did not come across that way. What is amazing to me is I don't think I could assimilate a 100 digit number in the 12 second time period much less type it into a computer. Amazingly, the same person memorized a 22 digit number in 4 seconds.
