South Asia Marks Tsunami One Month Anniversary - Remembering 447 Thousand
Survivors of the tsunami disaster are marking the grim one-month anniversary of an event that claimed hundreds of thousands of lives across the region.
In addition to the 147,000 people who remain unaccounted for, nearly 300,000 people are now believed to have died when a magnitude 9.0-earthquake triggered a deadly tsunami in the Indian Ocean on Dec. 26. [more]
