Terri Schiavo is in Need of Help

I feel for the parents of Terri. I question why the court feels it has a right to take a life from someone who never hurt anyone.
They are taking one life, they are taking a part of Terri's parents life too.
As a parent and a caring person, I can see that they will feel a death with in there soul.
I wonder why the court would want people that are in pain(Dying from cancer) live as they suffer each day. They hold on to life.
Terri is not in pain, and she is holding on to life.
I know of people that will them self to death.
IF TERRI WANTED TO DIE Her will to live is clear!
Let her live.
I would NOT want someone who is not in my life.(AND THAT HAS His OWN LIFE) to have the power over my life.
ONLY PEOPLE WHO LOVE ME AND WANT THE BEST FOR ME... should have the power to help me at the time I need them the most.
TOO MUCH TIME HAS GONE BY WITH HER HUSBAND TO PLAY A role in her LIFe LEave aLONE her death.
He has his life, Terri seems to want her life too.
Let her live.

well in my opinion.they have no say so on the decision of another persons life.if the lord wanted her dead he would have done so.yes it happen 20years ago ,but now she can respond.so if that can happen.anything's possible.for her parents keep praying wrong never weighs out the right in things.best wishes.

This is all so extremely sad. What is wrong with people? Why is it so hard to see that her husband is trying to kill her. If he's already living with another woman then leave him out of this. Her life should not be hung in the balance with a man who pledged in sickness and in health til death do us part, who obviously has fogotten those promises, and has no concern for her well being. Why won't he leave her to her parents if he cares so much. Let them decide what she would have wanted. He is sick, and heartless, and selfish, and if Terry could speak, her words probably wouldn't be too kind. She probably feels so betrayed. How sad. Why doesn't he just stay out of it? If he truly loved her and wanted what was best for her, he would be fighting harder than any pro-life group out there to save her, and nurse her back to life. He is sick, and I pray that God keeps him away from her.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THE SIGNING OF THE FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT BILL SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SIGNED AND WHY JUDGES SHOULD NOT BE IMMUNE TO LAWSUITS ! WHEN TERRY IS DEAD THERE WILL BE NOBODY HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR MURDER . AAAND ... WITH ACCOUNTABILITY OUT OF THE WAY THERE IS NOTHING TO STOP Dr's AND INSURANCE COMPANIES FROM KILLING ANY OF US AND HARVESTING OUR ORGANS AS SOON AS YOU HAVE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE INSURANCE THAT YOU HAVE BOUGHT . AND I HOPE TERRY IS NOT AN ORGAN DONER .IF THE Dr. IS GOING TO MAKE MONEY AND THE INS. COMPANY IS GOING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF ORGANS THEN THE DONER SHOULD BE PAID AT LEAST WHAT IT HAS TO COST THE RECIPIENT FROM THE TIME OF TREATMENT OF THE ILLNESS TO THE END OF TREATMENT .WHY SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE ALLOWED TO CHARGE THESE OBSCENE AMOUNTS OF MONEY AND A DONER GETS NOTHING FOR THEIR CONSIDERATION.LET'S STOP CALLING THEM DONERS AND START CALLING THEM "PROVIDERS" .

dear God please help terri, please forgive her husband for trying to kill her. dear god please give her family strength. please help them, and all of us to pray for her, and to do what we can to prevent her, and (I don't want to use the word husband) for the low-live she is married to.from killing her. Dear god please protect the rest of us parents from ever having to watch our children starve to death because a person who probably caused her condition, wants her out of the way. no one loves a child more than a parent. thanks lord. we love terri, and all your children. please bless and forgive a country who would let a person starve to death on the wishes of a man who wants her dead. Please god let her parents have her.

As someone on here wrote. It says it all. Terri's will is to live. She could have willed herself to death along time ago.
We won't keep food or water from a person in jail. How could we or why should we do that to Terri and to Terri's family?

IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT TERRI'S HUSBAND HAS BEEN LIVING WITH ANOTHER WOMAN FOR EIGHT YEARS AND HAS TWO CHILDREN WITH HER. IF THE COMMON LAW MARRIAGES ARE REALLY VALID TODAY THEN HE IS A BIGAMIST...LEGALLY OR MORALLY...WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD ANYONE TRUST THIS MAN TO DO THE PROPER THING FOR TERRI? IF HE WANTED A DIFFERENT WOMAN THEN I DOUBT HE WOULD HAVE HAD A PROBLEM GETTING A DIVORCE SO HE COULD MARRY THE LADY HE IS WITH..THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE.! HE WANTS HER DEAD SO HE CAN HAVE ANY MONIES LEFT... WHAT'S THE MOST OBVIOUS THING! THE NOT GETTING A DIVORCE ! AND AFTER GETTING THE MONEY FOR THE MAL-PRACTICE SUIT HE REFUSES TO LET HER HAVE THERAPY ANY LONGER... SHE IS IN A ROOM WITH NO COLORS, NO PICTURES, NOTHING ! SPARSE FURNITURE... SHE IS ALLOWED NO EXTRA'S OF ANY KIND...IF HE HAD A HEART AT ALL AND HE IS THRU WITH TERRI HE WOULD ALLOW HER PARENTS TO TAKE HER.. BUT HE WANTS THE LADY DEAD FOR THE MONEY THAT IS LEFT... I DON'T KNOW HOW HE CAN EVEN SHOW HIS FACE OUTSIDE...IF YOU THINK HIS KIDS ARE NOT GOING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THEIR FATHERS MOTIVATIONS HAVE BEEN IN THIS SITUATION THEN YOU ARE CRAZY! ..IF THIS JUDGE GREER IS SO LACKING IN UNDERSTANDING THAT HE MAKES A DECISION WITHOUT EVEN ALLOWING ALL THE FACTS TO BE PRESENTED HE IS A JOKE AND HAS MADE A FARCE OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM. MICHAELS ATTORNEY IS BASING HIS ARGUMENTS ON THE WAY THINGS WERE IN 1992. MEDICINE HAS COME A LONG WAY SINCE THEN... GOD ! I AM SO APPALLED AT THIS! IS THERE NO ONE WITH A BRAIN AND A HEART AT THE SAME TIME.? THIS IS A BID FOR EUTHENASIA AND THIS WILL BE THE ONE TO SET THE PRECIDENT ! IF WE DON'T STOP THIS NOW WE ARE A SICK SICK NATION AND WE WON'T BE GOING FORWARD ANY LONGER. THE JUDGES WILL CONTROL WHETHER WE LIVE OR DIE......... ANYONE, DO WHATEVER YOU CAN DO TO STOP THIS MADNESS... THIS LADY A VEGETABLE ! WHAT A CROCK OF CRAP ! HE WISHES !

I have a sister who was in the same situation as Terri Schiavo. 12 years ago my sister had a sudden cardiac arrest episode that caused major damage to her brain. Four days into her coma we were told by doctors that Kim was in a persistent vegetative state and that we should unplug her ventilator. If she made it through the night we were told to make arrangements to put her in a nursing home. My parents decided not to follow the recommendations of the doctors and to instead transfer her to a rehabilitation hospital. Kim was dependent on both a feeding tube and a ventilator. Through intensive occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy which included teaching her to swallow again, she made a wonderful recovery. Though she is still physically challenged and in a wheel chair, she is very much a productive member of society. She is living at home with my parents who are her care givers. She votes in elections and loves to debate the issues. My sister was given a second chance at life, and Terri deserves that same chance!

Why does no one suggest that a restraining order be issued against Michael Schiavo to keep him away from Terry? The man wants her dead! So why visit her, if he does. An investigation needs to be conducted to find out what really happened to Terry to cause her these injuries. The crime is that she has been denied therapy and air, and light. How can people life their lives knowing that Terry lies there 24 hours for so many years without the proper therapy? I cannot fathom how this case has been allowed to flourish for all this time. The family has been at her side before Michael Schiavo even came along. Why take his word on her alleged wished for euthanism?

I am so outraged at what Terri's husband,Michael, is trying to do. She is alive and pulling that tube means inevitable death. That means murder in my book. Why can't he just divorce her and let her go home with her parents? Why does she have to die? Because he wants her to. No excuse. Where does he have the right to make that decision? Because he is married to her? What happened to "Until death we do part" in those wedding vows? Obviously that meant nothing to him. If this mercy killing is allowed to happen then turn Dr.Kevorkian loose, because he was doing the same thing.
