Terri Schiavo Update March 18
By court order, the forced starvation of Terri Schiavo is scheduled to begin today at 1 pm est. Although there are many different organizations and government officials who are working around the clock to intervene, Terri is in imminent danger.
BlogsforTerri provides two main action items for Terri's supporters:
- Call on the US Congress to pass the Incapacitated Person's Protection Act. Because congress is preparing for recess, this must be done immediately (before 10:30 am est).
- Call on Florida State Senators to change their vote on legislation aimed at protecting Terri and those like her from forced starvation.
Finally, join with many across the globe who have marked today for Fasting and Prayer.
