The President Speaks (RNC 2004)
|
This evening the President of the United States delivered his address to the Republican National Convention and accepted his parties nomination for President of the United States. Toward the beginning of his speech he made a statement I found particularly interesting because it summarized GW's domestic policy:
I am running with a compassionate conservative philosophy: that government should help people improve their lives, not try to run their lives. I believe this nation wants steady, consistent, principled leadership – and that is why, with your help, we will win this election. | Warning: main(/home/ruchti/public_html/blogicus/poll/booth.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/blogicus/public_html/archives/the_president_speaks_rnc_2004.php on line 142 Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/ruchti/public_html/blogicus/poll/booth.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php') in /home/blogicus/public_html/archives/the_president_speaks_rnc_2004.php on line 142 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/blogicus/public_html/archives/the_president_speaks_rnc_2004.php on line 143 |
