The Supreme Court Says 'No' to Terri Schiavo
From the Associated Press:
The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to order Terri Schiavo's feeding tube reinserted, rejecting a desperate appeal by her parents to keep their severely brain-damaged daughter alive. All eyes are on Gov. Jeb Bush. The decision, announced in a terse one-page order, marked the end of a dramatic and disheartening four-day dash through the federal court system by Bob and Mary Schindler.
Justices did not explain their decision, which was at least the fifth time they have declined to get involved in the Schiavo case.

How, in this "nation under God" can we allow this helpless woman die in a manner that would be punishable by law in any other case? This woman is being denied her right to live and please, someone, put this tube back so that she can have some nourishment before it is too late! Meanwhile, what has happened to government in Florida? There should be an investigation. Also, the husband of T.Shiavo should be investigated. It was told by someone on a radio talk show that he had injected Terry with an overdose of insulin which nearly resulted in her death. If true, he should not get away with those actions.

Everything you say is true Lois, someone should put the feeding tube back in, there should be an investigation, however what we are seeing unfold in Florida in Terri's case is only the symptom of a much larger sepsis of the legal system itself.
The judicial branch of government is corrupt and despotic; "absolute power corrupts absolutely", lawyers become judges and lawyers are trained to work within the framework of the law as determined in the appellate courts.
The appellate courts are filled with liberal activists that despise Christian values and live according to some new form of secular voo doo.
Justice, the doing of right, has been turned on its ear in this country and our elected representatives do not have the balls to stand up to the black robes.
