When Will It End? Military Allegations Dominate Presidental Race
First I noticed that Sen. John Kerry's biographer is calling for him to release his military records and "warned a Navy investigation into his medals could prove to be the "death knell" of his campaign." However, former President Clinton suggests that Kerry drop Vietnam, the central theme of his candidacy, and focus on job creation and health care policies. Meanwhile, the allegation previously noted about Sen. John Kerry accepting laundered contributions from the Chinese government in 1996 is getting more press coverage and some compare Kerry's response to that of Dukakis.
However, President Bush's missing military records made the associate press and was one of the most viewed stories on Yahoo. The Kerry-Edwards campaign has responded to the GOP convention by cutting and pasting 143 "Lies, Mischaracterizations, Distortions, And Half-Truths."
