Where to begin to combat terrorism?

The ultimate question is how do you deal with terrorism that is pervasive through-out the world and that flows from the belief systems of those involved? At some point we have to face the fact that the ultimate war is the war of ideas. The beliefs of man drive him to action and govern his life. Whether we recognize it or not, the fundamental war is centered on conflicting worldviews and the precious beliefs that motivate battle, war and all types of conflict.
